our studio

less + less designs environments that translate ideas into physical experience. Rooted in a philosophy of reduction, our work explores how minimal form, material precision, and spatial clarity can create experiences that feel both restrained and deeply considered. We believe simplicity is never empty — it is intentional, tactile, and detail-driven.

Working at the intersection of spatial design, storytelling, and execution, we guide projects from concept through installation with a hands-on, systems-minded approach. Our interdisciplinary background allows us to move fluidly between creative direction, design development, fabrication coordination, and on-site realization.

Influenced by the sculptural restraint of contemporary art and object design, we create spaces that balance atmosphere with utility — environments where material, light, proportion, and pacing are treated with equal importance. Structured as a nimble studio, we collaborate closely with brands, architects, agencies, and fabricators on both comprehensive engagements and highly specialized project scopes.

the girls

cody luke

Specialized in interior architecture, she designs environments shaped by material, light, and movement. Her experience spans retail, brand environments, and residential spaces, where a thoughtful, hands-on approach brings depth and clarity to each project.

Cody is drawn to the full experience of a space—how it’s entered, explored, and remembered—before refining the details, from custom furniture to built-ins that feel seamless and intentional.

Beyond the studio, she finds inspiration in cooking and gathering with friends and family, and in exploring new places through day trips and shared experiences.

kari rowell

With a background in visual communication, her practice brings a spatial dimension to graphic design, translating identity into form, scale, and presence. Her work spans retail environments and brand storytelling, with a focus on typography, graphic systems, and immersive expression.

Kari works holistically, guiding projects from concept to installation—developing narrative, space, and object in parallel to create a cohesive and lasting impression.

Outside the studio, she brings the same curiosity and energy to her personal life. You can find her on the tennis court, exploring new restaurants, or unwinding with a good puzzle.
